2009

New Shows and Dvds featuring our music for 2009:“Criminal Minds” (CBS), “How I Met Your Mother” (CBS), “Big Bang Theory” (CBS), “The City” (MTV), “Southland” (NBC), ABC New’s “Primetime: What Would You Do?” (ABC) and “The Game: Season Two” (CBS/Paramount).

Continuing production of special & custom music: “NCIS”- Season 6 (CBS) - often the No.1 scripted show in the United States, “America’s Next Top Model: Cycle 12”, Fox Sports and ABC News.

2008

NCIS (CBS) is the No.1 scripted show for week of Oct 6!! We are in the mix yet again on this great show. Other continuing & new shows for which we are producing custom music: "America's Next Top Model"(CW), "The Last Comic Standing" (NBC), "Pussycat Dolls Present: Girlicious"(CW), & "Stylista" (CW).

NFL on FOX is featuring music by Richard Wolf, Mike Costantini and other writers from the PL in every game.

The Producers Lab entered into a long–term agreement with Sony Pictures Television. Among other provisions, the agreement facilitates the licensing of our catalogues for use in Sony Pictures produced television programming. We also extended our similar agreement with ABC Productions and Disney/Touchstone Television and Warner Bros Television Productions.

Congratulations to PL producer and protégé Jonathan Sadoff for the successful screening at Sundance of his first feature film score for the “Merry Gentleman”. The movie was directed by Michael Keaton and has garnered very favorable reviews.

2006

Madonna’s Maverick Films is featuring several of our tracks for her semi-autobiographical film “Material Girls”. The opening music of the movie is our record “Party Like That” and other songs appear in various scenes.


Richard “Wolfie” Wolf has produced some new themes for the Fox Sports Network. Themes include the “FSN Network Standard Theme” as well as others that will be used in a wide variety of sports programming. FSN has been using Wolfs themes since 1999.

The Producers Lab, Inc has expanded it’s existing deal with CBS Studios and CBS News Productions to encompass CBS Digital Media (which includes wireless) and CBS.com. Among other provisions, the agreement facilitates the licensing by the various CBS production entities of our PL catalogues for their across the board programming.

The new CW Network will officially launch in the Fall with a two-hour premiere of the “America’s Next Top Model” Cycle 7. The PL will continue to provide Elimination and Evaluation Segment Themes as well as the critical mass of hip-hop.

Additions to list of shows featuring our music: “Last Comic Standing” (Elimination and Evaluation Themes, others), “South Beach”, “Beautiful People”, “Tyra Banks Show”, “Sex, Lies & Secrets”.


2005

The Producers Lab entered into a new agreement with , CBS Network Productions, CBS News Productions and CBS/UPN productions. Among other provisions, the agreement facilities the licensing by the various CBS production entities of our PL catalogues for their across the board programming.

The Producers Lab congratulates new writer Kel Spencer on his Billboard Top Five hit single with Will Smith “Switch”. Kel has also written with top artists and producers Nick Cannon, Rodney Jerkins & Teddy Riley.

One of our star urban producers Greg Lawson has been in the studio working with Jamie Foxx on his new solo record.

Just added to list of shows featuring our music: “ER”, “KEVIN HILL”, “NORTH SHORE”, “LAS VEGAS’’, "JOHNNY ZERO", "EYES", "CUTS" and "THE RUNWAY AHEAD".

Music Connection Magazine interviews PL president Richard Wolf in its feature article “Who Really Produced That Record?”.

We renewed our deal with the ABC NETWORK. The agreement adds ABC NEWS and ABC SPORTS to the mix.

Summer/Fall 2004

Richard "Wolfie" Wolf won the 2004 Daytime EmmyTM Award for Outstanding Acheivement in Music Composition and Direction . The award was for the music for WB's "Static Shock".

MC Lyte was nominated for a 2004 Grammy Award for Best Female Rap Single and a 2004 BET Award for Best Female Rapper. She is currently in the studio working with Wolfie @ The Producers Lab cutting songs for her new album. She is also acting in numerous films & shows including UPN's Half & Half.

America's Next Top Model, the NO.1 show on UPN was renewed for a new season starting July 2004. We are the show's largest supplier of music-last season the show went to The Producers Lab on more than eighty occasions for songs and underscore.

The Producers Lab's song "Spycatchers", is logging its sixth year as the promotional theme for NBC's superhit Law'n' Order.

We have just concluded our deal with the CBS Network to distribute our music throughout the network for all their programming.

Several more new ( for us) shows have begun to feature our music including "JAG", "Hollywood High", "The Ellen Degeneris Show" & CBS News.



Spring 2004

Company founder  Richard "Wolfie' Wolf is again nominated for an EmmyTM Award for the 2003-2004 Daytime EmmyTM competition for Outstanding Achievment in Music Composition and Direction for his work on WB's "Static Shock".


New shows featuring our artists and music: "The Sharon Osbourne Show" - features twice daily-, "10-8" and "Elimidate". Congratulations to Stacy Ferguson (featured on Street Smarts 2 and Pop Soul Gold) for her Grammy nomination with the Black Eyed Peas for best Record of the Year! ("Where Is the Love?")

Stacy "Fergie" Ferguson a featured artist for The Producers Lab is singing lead with Justin Timberlake on harmonies ) on the smash Black Eyed Peas single "where Is The Love?" Fergie has been signed to a solo deal with Interscope/Universal Records.
Her album will drop in 2004.



Spring 2003

Richard "Wolfie' Wolf was nominated for a Daytime EmmyTM for Outstanding Achievment in Music Direction and Composition for his work on Static Shock.

AMERICA'S NEXT TOP MODEL has been renewed for a new season and we are producing a mutlitude of custom tracks.

THE VIEW has been using our 'Slower Hand' as reveal music as well as cuts from 'Street Smart Sagas 2' for their fashion segments.
